From Curitiba and a marketing professional, she is the current president of the Conscious Adoption Support Group, where she dedicates her time to volunteering. “I found deep fulfillment in building a diverse and loving family.” She is a mother to seven children, four of whom were adopted. “Together with my husband, we work tirelessly to balance our professional responsibilities and the loving care of our family.”
Psychologist (CRP 08/0774), holds a master's and PhD in psychology from the University of São Paulo (USP), and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in human development at the University of Brasília (UnB). She served as a professor at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) for 40 years. She is the author of 19 books and one hundred scientific articles. Her research has focused on adoption and abandonment since 1989.
